About Us
Taipei Henry brings authentic Taiwanese flavors to Seattle. Led by Henry (Mr. Gu), a chef with more than 25 years of experience in Taiwanese cuisine, we serve the comforting dishes and street-food classics that many Taiwanese grew up with — from beef noodle soup and braised pork rice to crispy chicken, chicken cutlets, Taiwanese sausage, and stinky tofu.
Rich, Aromatic, and Deeply Savory:
Follow the Steam
Ready to find your favorite bowl? Taipei Henry gives you two classics side by side. Our braised beef noodle leans dark and fragrant, layered with soy, rock sugar, and warming spices that cling to every strand. Our clear broth beef noodle goes the other way — clean, gentle, and quietly rich, letting the beef speak for itself. Add shredded pork with pickled mustard greens or snow cabbage when you want something brighter and a little tangy. Whichever you choose, the aroma reaches you before the bowl does, and one sip is usually all it takes to settle the argument.

The Perfect Sidekicks:
Snacks That Steal the Show
A proper Taiwanese meal is never just one dish. At Taipei Henry, the small plates are half the fun. Bite into golden popcorn chicken still crackling from the fryer, or a crispy chicken chop that hangs over the edge of its paper. Brave the stinky tofu, snap into a beef skewer, or share a plate of springy squid balls. Round it out with cold sides — Taiwanese kimchi, braised peanuts, seaweed salad, shredded radish, a marinated egg. Order a few, pass them around the table, and let the noodles take their time.
